It’s that time of year again…pumpkin season! I love all things pumpkin, and I don’t apologize for it at all. Bring on the pumpkin spice latte, hand me a slice of pumpkin cake, put pumpkin in my pancakes…pumpkin in all the things I say! So if you’re anything like me and will be cooking and baking with pumpkin this fall, I’ve got 25+ Pumpkin Recipes for you to try! I hope you enjoy them!

First Things First

Let’s start with the basics. If you are planning on baking or cooking with pumpkin puree this year, try making it yourself! I’ve got a great recipe that isn’t hard to make at all.

How to Make Homemade Pumpkin Puree

If you’ve never tried homemade pumpkin puree, you really need to! Canned is fine, but there’s something special about the real thing. When pumpkins are roasted they become rich and flavourful, making a soft and creamy puree that is perfect for all of your fall baking. And it’s easier to make than you think!

Airfryer Roasted Pumpkin Seeds

Every year after scooping out the pumpkins before carving, my kids want me to roast the seeds for snacking. I have never liked how they turn out though, because they just don’t seem to roast well in the oven…they take SO long and never come out crunchy. But then I remembered my Airfryer and just knew it would roast the seeds to perfection. And boy was I ever right. These Airfryer Roasted Pumpkin Seeds are crunchy, salty and so delicious. Ready in just minutes too!

Pumpkin Biscuits

These Pumpkin Biscuits are the perfect addition to your fall soups and stews. They are flaky and buttery with just the right amount of pumpkin flavour. They’re delicious served warm from the oven with loads of butter!

Let your bread machine do all the mixing and kneading for these Homemade Pumpkin Dinner Rolls!  Then shape the dough into buns and bake them in your oven for fresh buns at dinner. These are perfect for Thanksgiving or even as a side with a light lunch. Warm, delicious, and festive! Brush the freshly baked tops with butter to make them extra scrumptious.

Braided Pumpkin Bread

Is there any better smell than baking bread? I think not. I love bread. And one of my most favourite bread recipes is this Braided Pumpkin Bread. It is seriously delicious. Moist and slightly sweet, which makes it perfect served alongside soups and stews! The dough for this pumpkin bread is made in a bread machine, which means it really can’t get any easier to make! And as a fun bonus, you can always make it into dessert with my Pumpkin Bread Pudding Recipe

Pies

Of course, a list of pumpkin recipes would not be complete without the classic pie that pumpkin is so well-known for! I’ve got a traditional recipe for this classic dessert and a couple non-traditional ones too.

Pumpkin Pie

There really is no dessert more classic for Thanksgiving or Christmas than Pumpkin Pie.  Even after a big dinner and a turkey filled belly, there’s always room for pie! This classic recipe served with whipped cream or a big scoop of vanilla ice cream is the perfect traditional holiday dessert.

Halloween Pumpkin Pie

I love it when a themed holiday dessert really comes together! I found these adorable ghost pie cutters at Michaels and just couldn’t resist. Boo! Make this Halloween Pumpkin Pie (homemade ghost pie?) for your Halloween get-together. Serve with whipped cream and make your guests smile!

Pumpkin Pie Dip with Pie Crust Dippers

This Pumpkin Pie Dip tastes just like pumpkin pie!  Serve with homemade Pie Crust Dippers and extra whipped cream. My perfect pie crust recipe combined with some fun leaf-shaped pie crust pieces created with a pie stamp (the BEST invention in my opinion) makes for a really different and yet traditional fall dessert.

Pumpkin Tart with Gingersnap Cookie Crust

Sometimes you just want something a little different for your holiday dessert, do you know what I mean? But not TOO different because traditional foods during the holidays are important! This pumpkin tart recipe is so delicious and very easy to make, and checks all the boxes for a traditional yet non-traditional holiday dessert. It tastes just like a pumpkin pie but instead of a traditional pie crust, this dessert has a gingersnap cookie crust. The ginger flavour pairs perfectly with the pumpkin and fall spices in the filling. I shared this recipe on the Kendall-Jackson Wines blog here. I hope you enjoy it!

Cakes

I love all of these cakes, but especially the bundt ones!

Pumpkin Bundt Cake

As you probably know already, I have a serious love for Bundt cakes. The pans are so fun and pretty to bake with, don’t you think? This time I just had to make a pumpkin one because it wouldn’t be fall without pumpkin in all the things! This Pumpkin Bundt Cake is a perfect fall dessert, just as I knew it would be. It’s moist, pumpkin-y and spicy, all the things a fall cake should be.

Carrot Pumpkin Bundt Cake

This Carrot Pumpkin Bundt Cake with Cream Cheese Drizzle is a moist, spicy, and super delicious carrot cake, with the tasty additions of pumpkin and coconut for a fun twist.  Also, I love how it looks! I splattered the icing on and gave it a fancy yet rustic look, which is good news for those of us who can’t ice a cake like an expert. A perfect cake for fall!

Pumpkin Spice Bread

It doesn’t feel like fall over here until I’ve baked one of these Pumpkin Spice Breads. This loaf is definitely one of our family’s favourite fall traditions! This no-fail, moist, and spicy cake (yes ok call it what it is) is perfect for snacking or as a dessert with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Dessert

Some of my treats aren’t exactly cakes, pies, or snacks, but they are still yummy desserts that would please any crowd!

Pumpkin Delight Dessert

This Pumpkin Delight dessert is a delicious way to give in to your pumpkin flavour cravings! It’s light, airy, and like a pumpkin pie without the work of a traditional pie crust.

No-Churn Pumpkin Coconut Ice Cream

This Coconut Pumpkin Ice Cream has all the flavours of pumpkin pie but in a creamy no-churn ice cream! All you need is a blender and 10 minutes of your time to get this perfect fall dessert ready for the freezer. Did I mention no churning? Just blending and freezing. Easy and delicious.

Pumpkin Bread Pudding Dessert

I’ve found a way to turn my leftover Braided Pumpkin Bread recipe into something new and exciting: Pumpkin Bread Pudding! I took some of the bread I made and turned it into this creamy, delicious pumpkin dessert. It melts in your mouth and tastes just like pumpkin pie!  Serve it warm with ice cream for the perfect final touch.
