Delicious Holiday Appetizers
Can you believe it’s already the second week in December? So much to do and so little time!
Over the next couple of weeks we’ll be getting together with friends and family in celebration of the holiday season, so I have been spending some time planning what we’ll be eating. Because, I mean food is the most important part right? Food + friends and family = best time ever.
I especially love nights where we hang out with wine in our hands and appies on the table. So I’ve been busy pinning appetizer ideas to my Appetizer Pinterest board, and today I gathered up some of my most favourite appetizers from my blog to share with you! These are a little more fancy than the everyday appetizer, which make them perfect for the holiday season.
The first recipe I wanted to share with you are these Mushroom, Herb & Gruyere Cheese Mini Turnovers. You can find the recipe over on the Kendall-Jackson site where I’m guest posting today…they’re SO delicious! You won’t want to miss them, trust me.
Next up are a couple of baked appetizers. I love hot appetizers in the winter that you can eat with crusty breads and crackers, and a big glass of vino. So delicious!
Stuffed Mushrooms // Baked Goat Cheese & Bacon Spinach Dip

It’s not the holidays without baked Brie on the table! These are 2 of my most favourite Brie recipes of all time. They’re easy to make, and are definite crowd pleasers.
Puff Pastry Baked Brie with Blueberry Chutney // Brie with Sundried Tomatoes

If you’re looking for something a little different, a fondue appetizer is a fun way to eat! Or make skewers…guests love these!
Easy Pizza Fondue // Antipasto Skewers

These 2 appetizers are a little different, but so worth making! Flatbreads make great appetizers. And savoury jams do too – they’re delicious on Brie or served with a cheese plate.
Smoked Salmon & Dill Cream Cheese Flatbread // Roasted Garlic & Rosemary Onion Jam

Both of these appetizers are always a huge hit. I seriously could eat an entire plate of the shrimp myself! And these crostinis always disappear fast.
Grilled Coconut Lime Shrimp with Prosciutto & Mango // Prosciutto, Basil, Fig Jam & Goat Cheese Crostinis

I hope you found some delicious inspiration for your holiday appetizer table! Happy eating!
This post was generously sponsored by Kendall-Jackson wines. But as always the voice, all content, and opinions are mine alone. Appetizers and wine really are the best.
Soooo, THESE look incredible (sorry for shouting!). You always make me feel like I can be Martha Stewart-esque, Joanna – and for that I thank you. Going to try to coconut lime shrimp tonight!
Aw I love that Cate! <3
They all look so yummy when they’re rounded up like this Jo-Anna! I agree, wine and appies are the best. We usually do that when we go out for “dinner” too 🙂 I’ve made your pizza fondue for a crowd of teens…big hit! Pinning some more of these for holiday entertaining…or just eating…
xo
Jo-Anna your culinary talents are brilliant! I love smoked salmon and so that recipe really caught my eye. I never thought to serve it on flatbread. I can’t believe how easy it is to prepare too! Pinning!
looks incredibly good ! 🙂 great work
Shoot these are making my mouth water! They look so good! I’m going to try that baked goat cheese and spinach dip. Yum!
These all look incredible! I’m pinning this for later!!
Appies are my favourite food group, and everyone of these is calling my name! I especially love that bacon & goat cheese spinach dip – yum!
I think my favourite meal would be appetizers only, with no entree! And of course – dessert 😉 These all look like winning recipes!
I’d be so happy with these on an appetizer table that I wouldn’t go looking for dinner!
