Smoked Salmon Flatbread (with Dill Cream Cheese)
This Smoked Salmon Flatbread (with dill cream cheese) is a delicious appetizer, perfect for parties!
If you’re looking for an appetizer that is delicious, flavourful and a little unexpected, this Smoked Salmon Flatbread is SO GOOD. Ready from start to finish in about 15 minutes.
Delicious and Easy!
This Smoked Salmon Flatbread (you can also call it a smoked salmon pizza) is one of those recipes that looks fancy, but isn’t! In fact, you can put this tasty pizza together in about 15 minutes, making it perfect as a quick appetizer, snack or even a light lunch or dinner. Sometimes the easiest recipes are the best recipes.
Recipe Tips:
- Pizza Crust: Buy a pre-baked pizza crust for this recipe. You can find them in the baker or deli sections of your grocery store. White, whole wheat or even gluten free will work. Or you can make your own dough if you like…just bake the crust alone then let it cool before you add the rest of the ingredients and proceed with the recipe.
- Cream Cheese: I like to use dill cream cheese for this pizza because dill is perfect with salmon. You can also use regular cream cheese if you like.
- Capers: If you don’t like them, you don’t have to add them.
- Option: You can add a touch of Dijon Mustard to the cream cheese mix, the flavour is fantastic…it adds a nice zing!
- Feeding a small crowd: I doubled this recipe and made 2 pizzas which served 8 people comfortably.
- Can I make this ahead of time? This flatbread is best served immediately, so I don’t recommend that you make it ahead of time.

Hi Ariella! I think it would be just fine…I might just let it sit for about 15 minutes at room temperature right before you serve it though.
