A quick and easy dinner!

When I say this recipe is easy, I really mean it. I mean it’s so easy that you might wonder what you’re missing, but I promise, you’re not missing anything. Just because something is simple doesn’t mean it’s wrong or won’t be delicious. Sometimes easy is just what we need. I also think that this recipe would be lovely if you’re looking for all the flavours of Christmas dinner, but without all the expense or fuss…we don’t need to create a full spread if we don’t want to, or can’t.

Yes, there’s Stove Top in these turkey meatballs.

Here’s a little known secret about me…I love Stove Top. LOVE IT. I could honestly eat a whole box of it myself. It’s just so so good. So when I was thinking of making some turkey meatballs, I thought why not substitute bread crumbs with a box of Stove Top. You get the benefit of binding, but also of flavour. So much flavour. Not to mention, ease…like you’re just adding a box of stuffing mix to ground turkey. SO EASY AND DELICIOUS.

Turkey and Stuffing Recipe Tips

  • Stuffing: I used a box of Turkey Stove Top as filler for these meatballs. But if you have leftover stuffing around, you can use that instead. Just add about 1 cup to the ground turkey (or 1 1/2 cups if you want it extra stuffing-y).
  • Do I need to add water to the Stove Top? No. Just add the whole package of dry stuffing and spices right into the ground turkey and mix well.
  • Shortcut! Above I listed some links to side dishes of homemade mashed potatoes, gravy and cranberry sauce. But honestly, if you want to make this meal even EASIER, buy and use gravy packets (they’re delicious) and use a can of cranberry sauce (also delicious).
