Taking a look back at my Top Recipes of 2018! ! Here are my top 11 recipes that you loved over the past year…plus a couple that are my favourites!
Hello friends and happy January to you! Isn’t it amazing that we’re already into 2019?! I really enjoy this time of year…I like to get my house cleaned, I start creating menu plans and just really enjoy the fresh start that January brings. I also like to take this time to look back at the work I’ve done on my blog over the year. This helps me to create a vision for the year and see where I should go next. It’s also really interesting to see what recipes resonated with you all. I thought it would be fun to share your top favourite recipes from 2018, plus a few of my favourites that didn’t make it into the top.
But before I get to that, I wanted to take a moment to thank you all so much for reading my blog over the year! Your creations, comments, shares, pins…it all means so much to me, because without you, I couldn’t keep this blog going. I’m excited for 2019 as I continue to share simple & delicious recipes, and home decor tips & projects with you. Let’s get started!

I was kind of surprised to see my Mexican Bowl Recipe in the top 10 posts for 2018…it was one of those recipes that I shared but didn’t get much interaction after I posted it, but it quietly became one of my most viewed recipes! And I’m really happy that it did, because that cilantro dressing is amazing.

It’s no secret that 2018 was a big year for the Instant Pot, so I’m not surprised to see my 45 Minute Beef Stew recipe in my top posts! This really is a quick and delicious dinner.

These cookies may have been created for Halloween, but the sugar cookie dough is SO good for sugar cookies made at any time of year! I’m pleasantly surprised to see them in my top 10 recipes…I hope loads of sugar cookies will be made with this recipe over many years to come.

I absolutely LOVE that my recipe for Creamy Tomato Basil Pasta made it into the top 10…this is my MOST favourite pasta recipe ever…I seriously could eat it once a week. My fave.

These soft and chewy oatmeal cookies are by far one of my favourite cookies. They’re soft, sweet and so comforting…my kids love them, I love them…they’re awesome.

This Easy Pizza Pasta Bake was hands down one of my most favourite quick and easy weeknight recipes of last year. I am surprised that it hasn’t been that popular…it’s ready in less than one hour and kids LOVE it.

Blueberry Cobbler
It’s funny but I haven’t really made many cobblers over the years, but after this blueberry one, I’m hooked! I can’t wait to make it again with different fruits! Peach is first up! Yum.
