My Fall Inspired Mantel
Decorate for the prettiest season of all with a fall inspired mantel!
Ahhh, it’s fall! There is a chill in the air, and the leaves are changing. Love, love, love it! So I took advantage of a cool, windy day here and made over my mantel! It was time to take down the summery colours, and bring fall into my home! And the best part is, most of the stuff I already had! I only had to buy the pumpkins and squashes. So easy, affordable, and pretty pretty pretty!
For me fall means pumpkins, squashes and earthy accents. I started with a barn inspired mirror as my back drop and got to work!
I gathered some birch wood I took from my parents place, then added some leaves I already had. Put together some mason jar tea light holders. Simple.
I love the little punches of orange, mixed in with the whites, and greens. I don’t like a lot going on all at once, so the little bits of colour make me happy.
Love.

Very very simple. Just the way I like it. |
I use these twigs for all seasons and holidays.

Here’s what it looks like at night with all the candles lit. Cozy!
Thanks for coming on my little tour! What are you working on? Do you decorate for fall? What is your style?

I love everything in this picture! Simply perfect! Question. Is your fireplace electric? I’ve always wanted a fireplace/mantle and I think my hubby can build this for me. Maybe he can build it around an electric fireplace insert??
Hi Veronica! Ours is a gas fireplace, but I’m sure you could build something similar around an electric one! And thank you too, for your lovely comment – the fireplace is one of my most favourite parts of my home!
Beautiful fireplace!! It’s light and bright, but still has a wonderful earthiness to it. May I ask what stone product/color you used?
Love your Fall décor Jo-Anna, just lovely!
I love the bottom 4 squares on the floor/ledge of your fireplace? What is it called? I’ve been looking for that exactly for my fireplace!
Is it slate? thanks in advance!!
