Simple Fall Grass Wreath
With just a few supplies and less than 10 minutes, you can put together this Simple Fall Grass Wreath for your home!
I’m feeling so inspired this fall. Maybe it’s the crisp fall air and sunny skies, or the markets full of fall produce, or the fact that the kids are back at school…I’m not really sure what the reason for it is, but I’m just going with it. I’ve been busy shopping farmers markets, meal prepping, baking and decorating my home and loving every second.
One of the things I enjoy the most about fall is being able to decorate my home for this gorgeous season. I haul out pillows with pops of fall colours for our couch, add fall leaves into existing twig arrangements, place pumpkins on the mantel and front porch. And this year I’ve really tried to embrace natural elements in my fall home decor by using natural grasses, a lot of wood, earth tone colours and real fruit and pumpkins for display. Because really, what’s nicer than what Mother Nature offers us? It feels nice to bring fall elements into my home to make it cozy.
But most importantly, I want (and need) to keep it simple…I don’t want to spend a lot of money, or overcomplicate decorating in my home, but at the same time I will always be that person who has a wreath on the door, or the mantel decorated. I’m always trying to balance my need to decorate, with my need to keep it simple and on budget, as I know many of you are as well! Well fret not, we can have a beautiful fall home that doesn’t cost a lot or take much time to do. This Simple Fall Grass Wreath that I made is the perfect example.
This year I wanted to make a new fall wreath that will hang in our eating nook (I’ll show you where I hung it in my fall home tour which is coming soon). I kept this wreath super simple so that it fits in nicely with what I had going on in this space already. All I wanted was a natural looking wreath with fall grasses so that’s what I created. And it took me about 10 minutes to put together! It’s simple and I love it.
Creating your own Simple Fall Grass Wreath (for less than $10 and 10 minutes)
Supplies: 1 grapevine wreath vase, grasses of your choice, and matching ribbon
How To: All you have to do is stuff the grasses into the wreath base, trim the ends and hang the wreath using the ribbon of your choice! It’s so simple, but that’s what is so great about it! Have fun with it, choose your favourite fall grass or leaves, use a plaid, burlap or simple cotton ribbon. So many possibilities!
Over the next couple of weeks I’m going to be sharing a tonne of fall content like fall recipes, fall tablescape ideas, and finally my fall home tour! I can’t wait, so I hope you stick around to gather some inspiration for your own home!
