My Fall Inspired Mantel
Decorate for the prettiest season of all with a fall inspired mantel!
Ahhh, it’s fall! There is a chill in the air, and the leaves are changing. Love, love, love it! So I took advantage of a cool, windy day here and made over my mantel! It was time to take down the summery colours, and bring fall into my home! And the best part is, most of the stuff I already had! I only had to buy the pumpkins and squashes. So easy, affordable, and pretty pretty pretty!
For me fall means pumpkins, squashes and earthy accents. I started with a barn inspired mirror as my back drop and got to work!
I gathered some birch wood I took from my parents place, then added some leaves I already had. Put together some mason jar tea light holders. Simple.
I love the little punches of orange, mixed in with the whites, and greens. I don’t like a lot going on all at once, so the little bits of colour make me happy.
Love.

Very very simple. Just the way I like it. |
I use these twigs for all seasons and holidays.

Here’s what it looks like at night with all the candles lit. Cozy!
Thanks for coming on my little tour! What are you working on? Do you decorate for fall? What is your style?

Oooh! I love the birch wood & the white pumpkin! Stopping by from the Inspired Room.
Your mantle is beautiful — and I LOVE that mirror!
Wow, everything looks so gorgeous. I love all of your ideas, especially the twigs and leaves.
Best wishes,
Natasha.
Fabulous! I too go for a more neutral pallete with pops of color in my everyday decor as well as for Fall. Funny that you picked up the birch branches at your parent’s place. I was planning to scoure my parent’s burn pile this weekend (before they burn!) for some branches to work with! Thank you for all of the great inspiration!
Best Wishes and Blessings,
Amanda
I love the mantel — I like that you keep it festive and stylish at the same time. So often seasonal decorations can look dated and stale. Love it.
Oh wow, this is super! I especially love the birch logs!
I love the birch logs! Fabulous and yes, it is very cozy with the candles at night. 🙂

This is beautiful! I love white pumpkins too. I have one on my front steps since I couldn’t resist buying it when we went to pick apples last weekend 🙂
We’d love it if you would share this at Seasonal Inspiration Saturday tomorrow! http://www.crumbsandchaos.blogspot.com
Simple? I say totally elegant – LOVE!!
