Cookies and Cream Double Chocolate Cookies

Cookies and Cream Double Chocolate Cookies
These Cookies and Cream Double Chocolate Cookies are delicious! They’re soft, chewy, and SO chocolatey with Cookies and Cream candy in every bite…a chocolate lovers dream.
If you’re looking for delicious chewy chocolate cookies then you’re in the right place! These are the perfect cookie to satisfy your chocolate craving. They’re loaded with cocoa, chocolate chips and yummy Cookies n’ Creme candy. So good.

Makes a big batch!
This easy recipe makes a batch of 36 double chocolate chip cookies which is great because that means I can keep some out in the cookie jar to enjoy right away, AND I can also save some for later by putting a bag in the freezer. But, this recipe is also easily halved if you only want a small batch and not a full batch.

The star of the show…
Is it the addition of the Cookies n’ Creme candy in every bite? Or is it how soft and chewy they are? Or that they’re SO rich and chocolatey? It’s all the above. Yes.

Double Chocolate Cookie Recipe Tips
- COOKIES AND CREAM CHOCOLATE CANDIES: I use Cookies n’ Creme candy for these cookies. Cut the squares of this candy bar into small chunks.
- COCOA POWDER. Use good quality cocoa powder. I like Dutch process cocoa powder.
- CHOCOLATE CHIPS: You can use milk chocolate chips, dark chocolate chips and mini chocolate chips.
- BAKING TIME: I bake these cookies for 11 minutes, which makes them perfectly chewy. If you want your cookies a little bit more soft, bake them for 10 minutes, if you want them a little more crunchy, bake them for an extra minute or two.
- STORAGE: Store these cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
- FREEZING: These cookies freeze well. Store in a freezer bag in the freezer for up to 3 months.

This is how I chop the candy bar.

I like to add a few pieces of candy to the tops of the cookie dough balls before baking.

Yes, that pretty much looks like the Best Thing Ever! I wish I had the correct items for baking here in Sydney, we don’t own much because we don’t know how long we’ll be living here. Living in a foodie city is great though because all the espresso shops have homemade sweet treats like macaroons and croissants. I will definitely have to make some when I visit my mom this Christmas!
