Let’s Talk About the Dippers.
A little word of advice? Have A LOT of strawberries on hand for this dip, they are always the first fruit to go…there’s just something so amazing about strawberries and this dip together. But you can pretty much dip any of your favourite fresh fruit into this dip, as well as mini cookies, chunks of angel food cake and even graham crackers. Here are some ideas:
- Fresh Fruit: You can make a fruit platter or fruit tray full of fruit including: berries (strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries), bananas, pineapple, melons (cantaloupe, honey dew, watermelon), kiwis, apple slices, pears, etc…
- Cookies: mini cookies, Nilla wafers, shortbread, graham crackers
- Cake: angel food cake, pound cake, chocolate cake, vanilla cake
Marshmallow Fruit Dip Recipes Tips:
- Marshmallow Fluff: It’s also sometimes called Marshmallow Creme. You can find it in small plastic containers in the candy aisle (sometimes it’s also in the baking aisle). The containers are usually 198 g (8 oz) which is what I use.
- Strawberry Cream Cheese: I use the 227 g Philadelphia Spreadable Strawberry Cream Cheese
- Whipping Cream: The whipped cream should be unsweetened. Whip the whipping cream first, before you add the remaining ingredients.
- Make Ahead: You can make this dip a day ahead. Keep it in an air tight container in the fridge.
- Dipper Ideas: Sliced strawberries, grapes, bananas, raspberries, apples, cookies, cake, angel food cake, blueberries, graham crackers, vanilla wafers, chocolate wafers, etc. See above for more ideas.
- Can I freeze this dip? No. It does not freeze well at all. But it’s so quick and easy to make…only 5 minutes!
- Storage: Keep any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

This would be great inside of MINI ECLAIRS. Would have to minus the cool whip tho as it would melt b4 eating also would be great in brandy glasses and such with berries on top and then chocolate on top. OMG
Ooooh what a great idea! It really would be delicious in eclairs!! YUM!
Can a person freeze this dip or is it pretty hard to that with this or not?
Hi Nicole! No, I don’t think that this dip would freeze well at all, as I think it would turn watery as it defrosted. I think it’s best served fresh!
I am taking this recipe to my work potluck and serving it with vanilla and chocolate wafers. Should be a big hit (fingers crossed).
OH yum! I hope it’s a big hit (I’m pretty sure it will be)! Enjoy!
Everyone LOVED it! I served it with vanilla wafers however, I also found that rice krispie treats seemed to have found their way into dunking within the dip. I also absolutely loved it. So easy, and so yummy!
