Setting the Table for Easter
Setting the Table for Easter doesn’t need to be complicated! Here are some simple and pretty ideas for your Easter dinner or brunch table.
With a few simple decorations you can set a pretty and festive Easter table that will make your family and friends feel special! Simple is always best. In this post I’m sharing a simple Easter table that I put together in just a few minutes, and I’m going to basically recreate it for Easter dinner next week! Hoppy decorating!

Chocolate is the ultimate decoration for Easter!
It is. And it’s the most simple decoration to add to any table setting. Place some mini chocolate eggs and/or a chocolate Easter bunny on everyone’s plate. I love doing this because often the adults at Easter don’t get anything from the Easter bunny, so these are a fun treat for everyone! These adorable mini eggs and chocolate bunny are from Purdy’s (they gifted them to me and they’re perfect for our Easter table).

Bring out the pastels!
Easter is the perfect time to add table decorations in pastel colours. Things like candles, special cups and glasses. Napkins, linens and Easter bunny decorations. Shop around your home, you’ll be surprised what you find! I repurpose my dishes and decor all the time…in fact, you’ve probably seen those candles in my spring home tour, and those brown cups in my fall table setting.

Don’t forget flowers!
No Easter table setting is complete without a bouquet of flowers, whether they be faux florals or fresh blooms. I love adding fresh flowers like tulips and hyacinths…the ultimate spring touch!

Decorate beyond the table.
I like to add a few decorations off the table, and on to the buffet side piece in our eating nook. If you have a credenza or a set of drawers this is a great space to lay a wreath and put out some of your Easter decorations, as it makes the whole space feel festive!

Decorate with food!
Yes. I know I said chocolate was the ultimate decor, but let’s be honest, everyone is waiting for the Easter feast! All those yummy Easter dishes are what everyone is waiting for. This year we’re having our favourite baked ham, dill scalloped potatoes, spring pea salad, 7-layer salad, these bunny buns, and carrot cake for dessert. CAN’T WAIT!!
