With these Fall Porch Decorating Ideas, you can have a pretty and festive fall front porch!
With fall fast approaching, it’s obvious from all the blog posts and Pinterest pins out there right now, everyone has fall decorating on the brain! Including me. Fall is my favourite season to decorate for…I just find it so inspiring and cozy!
I’ve been gathering some ideas together for this fall season, and came across some photos of my porch from a couple of years ago, so I thought I would share them with you for inspiration! I used these same pots in my fall porch last year, and I’m debating on whether I will be using them again this year. But I’m leaning towards a different theme all together…we’ll see how it goes. In the mean time, here are some photos for a little more fall inspiration!
I love to use real pumpkins and squash because there is nothing more gorgeous than real decorations! They’re inexpensive and can do double duty if you use the squash for fall recipes! I especially love to use butternut squash in fall decorating, then I use them to make pasta sauce and side dishes! You can use the pumpkins for carving at Halloween as well!

I mean, just look at all the colours and textures, and how nice they all look together. Nature really does it best. Love. Love. Love.
Then throw in a few natural elements like leaves, and some branches for height, and your decorating is done!
This was SO easy to put together. I really believe that keeping it simple is the best kind of way to decorate. It doesn’t have to be complicated to be pretty.
So pretty and so festive! How are you decorating your porch for fall?

September 3, 2012 at 2:50 PMThe mix of squash and pumpkin is gorgeous- lots of colour and lots of size range. The twigs and pussy willows add another dimension. I like it. Change your theme if you must – I am sure I’ll like that too! 🙂

September 21, 2012 at 2:26 AMI like simple – very much! Just today, I noticed a wonderful variety of gourds and different pumpkins at the grocery store. Oh, I wish I’d had the time to dig through them and pick up a few for the porch, but I was on an “in and out” mission. Soon, though, very soon. The height and texture of the branches are the perfect finishing touch on your potted pumpkins!
