Whoa, it’s October. How did that happen so fast? I swear it was just summer…I say that every year, but every year it’s true. I really enjoy October though…here in Canada October means both Thanksgiving and Halloween, so it’s a really fun month.
I usually bust out the Halloween decorations after Thanksgiving, but I got the crafting bug early and decided to create a few things for the spookiest day of the year. And because I’m obsessed with wreaths, naturally I needed to make a new one this year…it’s been a while since I made one for Halloween. I still hang my Spooky Eyeball Wreath on the front door, but I also wanted something to hang up indoors.
So I made this spooky wispy wreath. I wanted something in all black, that was a mess and also kind of spooky. So I went to Michaels and bought black twigs, roses, leaves and spiders then messily put everything together. I like the chaos of it.
I decided to hang it up in our eating nook above my linen drawers. I love to decorate this spot for the different seasons because it’s a such a focal point on our main floor.
I think it’s looks great here surrounded by more creepy Halloween decor…bring on the pumpkins and skeletons. Boo.
Such a fun and simple wreath. And you can make it in about 20 minutes for less than $20!
