I wonder how many bowls of whipped cream I’ve made over the years? Mind boggling. I love whipped cream, especially the homemade kind, so I serve it with almost every kind of pie, cake and rich dessert that I make. I have always made the traditional kind using whipping cream, vanilla and sugar, but the other day as I was making a delicious strawberry dessert, I thought how delicious it would be with some lemon…so I made lemon whipped cream. And it was as tasty as you can imagine it would be!
Lemon Whipped Cream is light, creamy, tangy, sweet and bursting with fresh lemon flavour. SO good. Who knew?
Just imagine it served with a lemon bundt cake, blueberry breakfast cake, strawberry shortcake or no bake strawberry cheesecakes. Delicious.

Delicious idea!
Could this be used as a frosting for a 2-3 tier lemon cake?
Hi Peri! I think it would be delicious!
Is it granulated or icing sugar that’s used ?
I use granulated sugar. You can use icing sugar as well, but start with 1 tbsp at a time.
