I’ve always enjoyed having little arranged vignettes in my home..they’re a simple and lovely way to decorate for the different seasons and holidays. I especially love the no pressure and no stress feel I get when I’m arranging them. Sometimes they come together in a natural way as remnants and knick knacks randomly find their way together, and yet somehow everything ends up looking great together! Kind of like how my Pumpkin Patch Vignette came to be…
This vignette came about in a random way as I was decorating my home for fall. As I was pulling out all of my fall decor I started setting my faux pumpkins on the cabinet in my front hall, just until I could find a place to put them.
Later I glanced over and saw them all gathered together here and absolutely LOVED how they looked. Just a load of pumpkins all hanging out together on my cabinet…like a little adorable pumpkin patch.
Mismatched colours, sizes and shapes that work perfectly together.
So I decided to keep all of the pumpkins here for now. I moved a few around, added a few more to the floor by the cabinet, then finished things off with some faux sprigs of Dusty Miller.
Love love love. I absolutely adore how this vignette came together. So simple and so pretty.
How to Put Together a Pumpkin Patch Vignette
Like I said before, this vignette came to be in a very random way, so trust me when I say it’s the easiest arrangement ever!
- I used about 13 faux pumpkins, and a few sprigs of Dusty Miller to put this together.
- Start with 3 big pumpkins along the back.
- Then add a few medium sized pumpkins to the front.
- Then add smaller pumpkins to fill in the spaces.
- Once the pumpkins are placed, tuck in some faux sprigs of Dusty Miller so it looks like the pumpkins are resting on a bed of leaves.
- Done!
