Last minute ideas for Thanksgiving!

In case you need some Last minute ideas for Thanksgiving, I’ve got you covered!  Everything from simple decor ideas, to pumpkin recipes, desserts and side dishes!

Like I do for almost all of our holidays, I tend to leave things to the last minute.  But I have a theory for this, I just work better under pressure.  If I have too much time to plan an event I end up overthinking and making more stress for myself.  So I tend to tackle things like holiday menus the week leading up to the big day.  That way I focus, I know what I need to get and I know what I need to do, and in the end everything comes together.

In case you are like me, and still need some ideas for Thanksgiving you’ve come to the right place!  Today I’m sharing some last minute Thanksgiving decor ideas, pumpkin recipes, and side dishes, and I’m also sharing a delicious Kale & Roasted Squash Fall Salad on the Kendall-Jackson Blog…this salad is perfect for your Thanksgiving table!

So let’s get started!  First up, here are some Simple Thanksgiving Decor Ideas.  As well as serving delicious food, I also like to decorate our home to make it feel cozy and festive for the holidays.  And I like the decor to be simple…

  1. Hi Jo-Anna — what a beautiful post with so many delicious and pretty ideas! I’ve pinned the Kale Salad and Pumpkin Pie pancakes to make later this fall. I hope you have a great Thanksgiving weekend! 🙂

  2. Jo-Anna we are clearly operating on the same salad wavelength. Squash, kale and pomegranates — such a good combo, right???

I am in awe of your decor skills — I get too caught up with the food, and then the table gets set with white paper napkins :-).

  3. I haven’t put much thought into Thanksgiving yet – which probably should happen soon since while the mother-in-law is hosting she didn’t want to oversee everything and my husband got put in charge (which translates to me in charge, right?) These ideas might get me started in the right direction. Thanks for sharing with us at the #HomeMattersParty link party.
