Fabulous Fabric!
Last week I saw a fabulous idea over at Landee See, Landee Do.
She made decorative vase fillers with styrofoam balls and fabric! Genius!
I had been wanting to add some punches of sunny colours to our living space,
but I didn’t know how I was going to do this.
I wanted bright colour, just a touch, nothing overwhelming, but still noticeable.
This was the perfect solution!
Just what was needed to add a lovely touch of summer colour to this space!
Here’s How-To:
I dug around and found some scraps of fabric, in bright cheery colours.
Then I made the strips about 3/4 inch wide,
by making a little slit with my scissors at the top of the sheet, then I ripped each strip off.
I did it this way, because I wanted the frayed edges.
It’s messy, but I like the effect.
You will have to pull away stray threads…
Then I just randomly wrapped the ball with the fabric, and used a bit of glue to secure the ends.
A simple and pretty decoration!
The perfect, subtle little punch of colour for my summer mantel!
Thanks for reading!
Have a colourful day!
