Special Rolling Pins

These are the most fun find I have come across this year!  These are rolling pins made out of recycled hardwoods and skateboards.  They are made locally here in Calgary by Martinus & Adrian Pool, but you can also purchase them online, along with a number of other items such as serving bowls.  What a fun and unique gift idea!  And they’re handmade.  I love local, handmade gifts.  I would LOVE to find one of these under the tree this year!

Bread Lames

If you have someone who loves to make bread on your Christmas list this year, give them a handcrafted bread lame!  This gorgeous bread lame is from LameWay, a Canadian company based in Nelson, BC. I was gifted this beautiful hand forged twisted bread lame and I love it!

Loaf Pans

I received these loaf pans as Christmas gift, and I absolutely love them…in fact I tell anyone I can that if they like to bake, these Williams Sonoma Traditional Finish Loaf Pans are a kitchen must!  I’ve never had loaves bake as even or as perfect as I have since I started using them. They’re not that expensive either, so they’d make a great gift.

Spiralizer

I love my Paderno 4-Blade Spiralizer, and use it all the time to make zoodles.  They’re also great for spiralizing all kinds of vegetables for salads and side dishes.  This is a great gift for the foodie that has everything!

Sheet Pans

Sheet pans are so great for 1-dish sheet pan meals!  The Nordic Ware Sheet Pans are especially great…they cook evenly and clean easily.  I also love how versatile they are.  These would make a great gift for your foodie.

Cookie Cutters/Stamps

These Thumbprint Cookie Stamps would make great stocking stuffers!  What a fantastic way to make these delicious Christmas Thumbprint Cookies!

Joy of Cooking Cookbook

I love receiving cookbooks at Christmas!  There’s just something so nice about flipping through a cookbook and marking pages of things you want to make.  My most favourite cookbook of all time is the Joy of Cooking! I love this book.

Aqua KitchenAid Mixer

I had to add this Aqua KitchenAid Mixer to my wish list…this mixer, in this colour, is an absolute dream to me.  A girl can dream right?  😉

Linen Pinafores

I live in my pinafores. Truly. There is not a day that goes by when I don’t wear it in the kitchen or to clean. I LOVE them. This pinafore (in slate) from Vermont Linen Company is my favourite.

Le Creuset Enamel Pots

These enamel pots are the ultimate foodie gift. Who wouldn’t LOVE to see one of these under the tree?!

I hope you found some gift inspiration for your own holiday shopping!  What’s on your wish list this year?
