There’s just nothing quite like lemonade…and I mean the real kind. The fresh, homemade, squeezed from real lemons, lemonade. And to make this drink even better, let’s add some fresh strawberry puree! Ah. Maze. Ing. And simple. Totally worth the effort.

Strawberry Lemonade Recipe Tips:

  • LEMONS: Use fresh lemons (or fresh frozen lemon juice).
  • STRAWBERRIES: Use fresh or frozen strawberries and blend to make a puree. No need to strain it.
  • SWEETNESS: Depending on how sweet or tart you want this drink to taste, you can use 1/2 to 3/4 cup of sugar.
  • AMOUNT: This recipe makes about 6 cups, but you can easily double or even triple it. A big batch is perfect for parties and gatherings with friends.
  • STORAGE: This drink will keep in the fridge for several days.
  • FRESH LEMON TIP! I often keep 1/4 cup cubes of frozen fresh lemon juice in my freezer and will use those to make this recipe. Just toss the frozen cubes into water with sugar, mix until thawed.
  • GARNISH: Add sprigs of fresh mint, a lemon slice and sliced strawberry.
  • MAKE IT A COCKTAIL: This is a great drink to add a splash of vodka to!
  • FLAVOUR OPTIONS:
    • Make Strawberry Limeade by substituting the lemons with limes!
    • Or use raspberry puree to make raspberry lemonade.
