Canada Day Party: Maple Leaf Shaped Watermelon
For your Canada Day Party, make these Maple Leaf Shaped Watermelon pieces! Such a simple and fun way to serve this summer treat!
Hello, I’m back again to share another super easy and fun foodie idea for a Canada Day Party! I made Maple Leaf Shaped Watermelon pieces! These will only take you a few minutes to make which is amazing, and really appreciated when you have a party to prepare. Not to mention how cute they are. Sometimes the cutest things are also pretty easy.
Everyone loves watermelon on a hot summer day, so I thought it would be fun to serve it up in a festive way for a Canada Day Party! A little different and A LOT of fun. All you need is a maple leaf shaped cookie cutter (I found mine at Michaels) and you can have the most festive watermelon ever.
How to make Maple Leaf Shaped Watermelon
Slice the watermelon into circle slices about 3/4 of an inch thick, then using your maple leaf cookie cutter, cut out the shapes and add them to a serving platter (cut out as many leaves as you can from each piece). DONE. And if you don’t want to waste the outside pieces, just cut them up and add them to a fruit salad!
Really. How simple and fun are these?! Your guests will think you are a super human. Just don’t tell them you didn’t break a sweat over this task…no one needs to know such things. 😉
