News from the blog!

This was a busy week behind the scenes on my blog.  As you may already know, I finally did the transfer from Blogger to WordPress.  Well, I didn’t do it per se, but Kristi from Addicted to Decorating did the transfer for me.  She was so great, and I’m so happy with WordPress so far!

There is a huge learning curve on how to use WordPress, but I’m slowly getting the hang of it!  Putting together posts is a lot different (and not as user friendly as Blogger), but I’ll get there.  I’m a little frustrated with not being able to adjust the line spacing, font size and font colour!  BUT, the plug-ins that I can now use are SO worth it!  I’m in love with the WordPress plug-ins!  I’ve been able to add some fantastic features to my blog that I have been wanting for sooooooo long!

Here’s a look at the new features I added!

First:  Printable Recipes!  THIS is what I have been wishing for for so long!

Second:  Drop Down Menus by category for easy searching.

Third:  Photo Galleries for all of my crafty stuff and recipes!  LOVE this feature!

Just hover over the images and the Recipe Name or Craft Title will pop up.

There is still so much I want to do with my blog, but all in good time.  Most importantly I got the features that I really wanted, all up and running!

Last week was kind of crazy, so I’m looking forward to getting back to regular blogging this week!

Thank you so much for reading!  And being patient with all of my changes over here!

Have a delicious week!
