Family Binder Organizer Ideas with Printable Worksheets

Family Binder Organizer Ideas with Printable Worksheets

One of my most favourite blogs, I Heart Organizing, held a challenge to get together a Family Binder. It’s for all the important information that is needed to run your family, all gathered into one spot.

I love to organize, and needed no excuse to get on board! For this challenge, she offered several free forms.  Forms for finance, auto information, schedules, calendars, phone numbers… I have also included 2 downloads of my own that you can get anytime:   Click here:  a Freezer Inventory, and a Special Dates Calendar.

My binder includes forms for:

  • Important Phone Numbers
  • Special Dates to Remember
  • Freezer Inventory
  • Auto Log
  • Finance Worksheet
  • 12 Month Calendar
  • Envelope to hold my Blog and To-Do workbooks.

So here is my little family of 5’s binder:

I bought just a simple recycled board binder, that I plan to Modge Podge one day. I’m scared of Modge Podge.  I’ve never used it, but it looks fun?

Then I bought some pretty coloured tabs.  Because they have to be pretty! I used a white paint Sharpie to label my tabs. I’m in love with this pen. In love. I am relabeling everything with it!  I even rewrote the labels on my Pretty Jars!

This is the Freezer Inventory that I created to keep track of all of our food in the deepfreeze.  To download this, click HERE.

This is the Special Dates Calendar that I created to keep track of all of our important dates, like birthdays & anniversaries.  To download this, click HERE.

I needed a separate book for my Blog.  It’s for all the ideas and stuff swirling around in my head.  My head is always swirling.  This drives my husband crazy.  Crazy.  And I also have a separate book that I use for all the day-to-day lists and stuff to do.  Because I need to write things down, and feel like I accomplish things when I get to cross them off!

Well, this system works for me, and keeps me sane.  At least I think it does?  😉

Thanks for stopping by, and happy organizing!

  1. I really need to do this! I keep putting it off but have started to travel more with the kids being older and feel like I keep making mini notebooks – one big one is what I need! New follower from the girl creative.
