16 Kitchen Hacks to Maximize Your Space!
A little known fact about me, ok it’s not so hidden, is that I love to organize. I mean, I really really love to organize. For me, it helps calm the chaos in my head…if things are crazy busy in life, I organize or clean something. So when I find neat little tricks to help make my life more simple I need to share them, because maybe you’ll find them useful too? I think tips & tricks are especially great this time of year with the holidays season, kids sports, school, work, bad weather…we could all us a simplification!
So here are 16 kitchen hacks that I put together from Hometalk, all in one place. Some fun & easy tips to help maximize the space in your kitchen. I’ll be implementing quite a few over the next few days, before my cookie baking extravaganza starts up! Wooooohoooo!

16 Kitchen Hacks to Maximize Your Space:
- Use pretty and functional jars on your counter tops to hold frequently used pantry staples!
- Make your own fridge mats out of placemats. Makes spill clean-ups so simple!
- Use your pantry doors as a kitchen command center. Don’t have a pantry? Use the back of a cabinet door!
- Organize your coffee supplies in a decorative and functional way…bistro style in a seagrass basket.
- Keep clutter off of your kitchen counter using a decorative and functional wall storage system.
- Use lazy susans to store canned goods in your pantry.
- Use a cake stand to hold your kitchen sink essentials like dish soap and hand lotion!
- Install your own kitchen sink tip outs to utilize wasted kitchen space. Use them to hold sponges and brushes.
- Use wire pencil baskets screwed to a side wall in your pantry or closet for spices.
- Use a basket to organize all your cleaning supplies under the sink.
- Use labelled mason jars to store spices in a drawer.
- Use inexpensive spring tension rods to create dividers for cupboards.
- Use bins in your fridge to group similar items together and keep everything organized!
- Use an unused wall space in your kitchen to act as a command centre.
- Free up cupboard space, and use an armoire or set of drawers to store linens and things from your kitchen!
- Hang a shelf with a towel rack above the sink and use storage containers to hold items like towels, soap, and other small kitchen items.

These are some great tips! I like to organize everything in my house right before Christmas. I feel like it’s good Karma to leave space for new treasures that Santa/husband may bring.
