My Valentines Day Home

Well, my house looks like a little love nest! Touches of pink and pretty. Makes us all feel happy.
Which is especially good for us in the middle of winter in Canada!

Here’s a little look into our home…

The plan was to go a little crazy with my mantel this year. And I tried all kinds of things up there, but it was just too much. It just wasn’t me. I like things simple. Clean.

Nice and simple. Just the way I like it.

I love these! I have been able to use them at Christmas, and on my Winter Mantel,
and now for Valentines Day.

My yarn ball garland. Love it!

I used cinnamon hearts to fill the candle holders that have permanent residence on my mantel.

A simple Valentines touch.

I made a picture out of conversation hearts.
Which by the way taste terrible! I’ve never had them before, and they look better than they taste!
I put this on the shelves in the bookcases that surround my fireplace.

Fancied up the chandelier with some heart ornaments.

These enormous pink Christmas ornaments were given to me this year,
but they just didn’t match what I had going on. So I brought them out for
Valentines, and hung them from strings in my eating nook.
