Good Reads…Divergent

I can’t even begin to tell you how much I loved this book!
If you liked the Hunger Games, this book is for you!
(thanks for the recommend Sav!)

Divergent is the first book for author Veronica Roth.  Wow.
It’s the story of Beatrice Prior who lives in a dystopian society divided into 5 factions:
Candor (the honest), Abnegation (the selfless), Dauntless (the brave), Amity (the peaceful), and Erudite (the intelligent).
In this society, when you reach the age of 16, you have to choose which faction to be a member of.
And this could mean leaving your family forever and becoming your true you.    But she has a secret.
A dangerous one.
It’s a must read if you love this genre of books.
 I really really loved it!

I loved it too! I can’t believe how young the author was when she wrote it. Just finished “Delirium” which is set in the same timeframe. And “Matched” is another one you might like!
