My Summer Inspired Mantel
As you know already I’m sure, I love to decorate for all seasons and holidays! No time is safe!
And I’m a simple gal. I like things clean and fresh.
So here is a little look at what I did with my mantel to welcome in the Summer season!
I just shopped around my house again.
I gathered together my glass art framed in recycled farmhouse wood, my milk bottles, coloured glass, and a few other things I had around already.
I love glass. Anything glass. Glass chunks. Milk bottles. Glass art.
Look at the colours! They remind me of water and freshly mowed grass!
I added a little birdhouse from Michaels that I spray painted with Rust-Oleum’s Antique White.
Then I added a little ball I wrapped in fabric (a little project to be posted later…)
Simple.
Just the way I like it!
Ok, welcome Summer. You can stay awhile. I don’t mind.
Thanks for stopping by!

Lovely mantle. Love all the colours and your glass display. Glad you added you link to Beach Cottage Good Life Wednesdays.
very pretty – I love the white birdhouse!
The bright cheery colors on your mantle are wonderful! Love the green and blue in the jars and that pop of yellow is darling! I host a decorating party on Fridays too if you would like to come share sometime! 🙂 Have great weekend!
Where do you get the colored glass? Looks nice.
I found both glass pieces at a local farmers market. And the coloured glass ‘marbles’ are from Crate & Barrel.
