Easiest No-Sew Pennant Banner Ever
Ok, so I’m the last person in Bloggyland to make a pennant banner.
Every time I see one I think about doing a happy dance! (I’m crazy like that.)
They are the cutest, prettiest things ever!
But I always put off making one, because I didn’t feel like sewing.
So I thought, why sew? Why not bring out my little friend the glue gun?
Easy peasy.
I gathered up some summery gingham and polka-dot fabric, but the colour and pattern options are endless!
Not to mention the endless possibilities for where to hang these pretty banners. I envision a backyard BBQ party with this little number!
Here’s How-To:
All you need is:
Some fabric (I used 7 different colours/patterns).
Glue gun
Ribbon (I used yellow gingham, and it is about 4.5 feet long)
Cut your fabric in to little triangles (mine are about 2.5 inches along the sides)
Put some glue along the top of your triangle, and lay down the ribbon on the glue.
I spaced my triangles about 0.5 inches apart.
That’s it. It’s almost too easy?
Looks pretty though…
Lovely Linking:
Tea Rose Home, Lil’Luna, Sugar and Dots, Sew Woodsy, A Glimpse Inside, Fingerprints on the Fridge, The Shabby Nest, Tatertots and Jello, Freckled Laundry, Remodelaholic, I Heart Naptime, Tip Junkie, Blue Cricket Design
Very cute! That is my kind of project…no sew.
SO awesome!!! I think I’m a bunting aholic, for sure!!!
what a cool idea! this would be nice for an outdoor BBQ. also, no sew is my type of project especially since i gave up the last time i tried.

Super cute! Following you now from Sew Woodsy Link party.:)
So cute!!! Can’t believe I didn’t think of just hot gluing a banner instead of sewing it – that’s so much easier! And still looks great! Thanks for sharing!

It looks great! I’ve only made a pennant banner using paper so perhaps since I didn’t use fabric, I will be the last person. lol I’ve been wanting to make one though… someday!
Thanks for linking up to this week’s Catch a Glimpse party. I’ll be featuring this tomorrow.
You are not the last one to make a pennant banner because I have yet to make one. I have a few pieces cut, but that’s as far as I’ve gotten. Thanks for the inspiration!
