Creative Gift Wrapping Ideas

Hello friends!  Well this is the last post from my collaboration with Canadian Tire for the launch of their new CANVAS holiday line.  I really enjoyed putting all of these projects together, and I hope you found them inspiring for your own holidays!  In case you missed them I decorated my front porch, set a mixed metallics holiday tablescape and made a holiday wreath for my chalkboard wall.  Today I’m sharing some Creative Gift Wrapping Ideas!  Gift wrapping doesn’t have to be boring or stressful…with some pretty paper and simple embellishments you can have gorgeous wrapped gifts under your tree this year!

Wrapping presents is such a creative way to spread holiday cheer!  I’m drawn to bright and cheery colours for the holiday season. The more colours and textures and patterns the better, I say!

For these creative gift wrapping ideas I used bright and colourful wrapping as the base for my inspiration.  Then after I wrapped each gift in the festive paper, I had fun with embellishing!

I used various different ornaments, ribbons, and garlands to dress up the gift wrapping and tie everything together. I love to use ornaments as part of gift wrapping because they make a great gift in and of themselves!

  1. The silver Christmas tree paper in the first photo is my favorite! So beautiful! I love the one with the ornaments in the photo below it as well.
