Make a Gallery Wall with Your Kids Art Projects!
A great way to display your kids art projects is to make a Gallery Wall with it! Gather together some simple picture frames and place your favourite projects in them to hang.
Really, what art is better than the art your kids (or grandkids) make? Sometimes the projects that come home from school are truly amazing, and I always feel so guilty putting them away into a box. I especially love the self-portraits! Seriously, is there anything more funny than these?! So instead of putting these projects away in the basement storage, I decided to create an art gallery in our upstairs hallway with art made by the kids. They will feel so proud to see their works of art up on display! And it will be fun to watch the collection grow as they do.
How To Make a Kids Art Gallery Wall
This project is so easy, and can be put together on a limited budget. In my ongoing quest to shop around my own home, I gathered up some old frames from the basement, gave them a fresh coat of spray paint (I used Rust-Oleum’s glossy aqua spray paint). Then I dug through the multitude of art projects that have accumulated over the years (there is so much stuff! How can one possibly keep it all!?) and put them in the frames! That’s it…so easy! And your kids will LOVE to see their work on display.
It will be so fun to watch this gallery grow over the years and change as they age! Teardrop.
Have an inspired day!
I do not have a gallery wall yet but I want one (or two, or three). Yours loooks great! Your kiddos are great little artists.
This is seriously adorable!!!
Great idea! I used to just tack the pictures on a wall and some on the fridge, but it started taking over. I might add this to my list of projects. I’m following you on Google and FB now. I saw you at Polly Want a Crafter?’s blog hop.
Love this idea! I just wrote a blog about ways to organize art projects. Check it out:

Jo-Anna, what a creative way to use spray paint and feature your children’s artwork. Very nice! Thank you so much for using Rust-Oleum to complete this project.
This is so cute! And such a neat keepsake too. I’m sure the kids will love to see their art work so proudly displayed on the walls too.
