Hi everyone! Today I bring you a post about my fridge. Yes, my fridge! You may remember her? Isn’t she SO pretty?! 😉
I am part of the Frigidaire Canada Ambassador program with Mom Central Canada and Frigidaire, as part of their #testdrivemoms campaign! Woot woot! And because I love this fridge so much, I just had to show you how great she is again! In my first post about my fridge I tried to fill you in on all the great things about it, but there were just too many to fit in at all once! Plus, I had to spend some time getting to know her! Since then, I’ve grown to love this fridge even more, and I have discovered many more fantastic features!
One of the best things about this fridge is how it instantly updated my kitchen. Instantly. It’s addition to my kitchen was like a mini makeover! Fan-dan-tastic! (now I just need a new stove…lol!)

And I love how easy it is to fill up the fridge for entertaining and parties! No more sticking stuff outside in coolers! The Slide-under shelf that I showed you in my first post, is SO great for bulky items like jugs of lemonade, champagne and wine!

Now this may seem silly, but I also know that so many of you can relate to it! Watermelons. They never ever fit in the fridge without some major rearranging, if you can even get them in at all! Am I right? But let me tell you, this fridge can handle a watermelon. No rearranging, nothing. It just fits.
Hallelujah! Hallelujah! 🙂

Oh and this drawer. I don’t know how I lived without this Store-More™ Full-Width Drawer before! Honestly, I am continually amazed at how much it can hold. I think I like it so much because now I don’t have lost containers of sour cream and dips all over the fridge! They all fit into this drawer.
I don’t know if you can tell from this picture, but this drawer is packed. Packed. 1 carton of eggs, 2 packages of bacon, 1 package of sausages, 3 containers of hummus, 1 container of Greek yogurt, 1 container of parmesan cheese, 1 container of sour cream, 1 container of feta cheese, 3 packages of Babybel cheese, cheese strings, 2 containers of dips, 2 containers of deli salads, butter and a block of cream cheese. AND I could probably fit a couple more things in here! I LOVE this drawer!

And yes, the water & ice dispenser is still my most favourite part of the fridge! This feature has been amazing for our hot summer days. It’s also been so helpful for parties & entertaining! Self serve cold, icy drinks at our fingertips!

Here are some other interesting fun facts about the Frigidaire Gallery® French Door Refrigerator!
- If you leave the door to the fridge or freezer open for more than 5 minutes, an alarm will sound to notify you. Love this! With kids around this is so necessary!
- If the temperature of your freezer gets too high, an alarm will sound notifying you. Good to know!
- If the temperature in your the main area of your fridge gets too high, and alarm will sound to let you know to adjust it.
- There is a Sabbath Mode feature that disables portions of the fridge and controls in accordance with the observance of the weekly Sabbath and religious holidays within the Orthodox Jewish community. Very awesome!
- There is a quick freeze feature for new food purchases that require freezing. Just before you go grocery shopping, activate the option so that when you get home you can be assured that your newly purchased food intended for the freezer, will be preserved as quickly as possible. So cool!
- The PureAdvantage air filter system keeps your fridge free of bad odours! No more stinky fridge smells!

January 27, 2014 at 12:49 PMJust checking in to see how that fridge you got last summer is working out. My fridge died yesterday and I’m in a bit of a panic about what to get to replace my old one (it was a G.E. — TERRIBLE!). Any complaints, problems, or repairs? I’m seriously considering your exact model but would love your input. Thanks so much for your help! I hate having to make such big decisions under pressure : (
