Happy New Year!
Hello and Happy New Year! I’m sharing some fun and festive ideas for your New Years Eve partaaaaaaay!
Can you believe that another year is being ushered out?! This past year seemed to fly by. But I’m excited for a new year…I love the feeling of being able to start afresh. And what better way than to have a New Years Eve party! Today I’m sharing some simple and fun ideas for your New Years Eve celebration.
I partnered with Bed Bath & Beyond to bring you this fun and festive New Years Eve party, just in time for the holidays! I was compensated for my time, but all images, thoughts and opinions are my own as always. Happy New Year!
I was able to get almost everything I needed for my holiday party at Bed Bath & Beyond! I love being able to shop at a one stop shop and get what I need. And their online shopping is a great option as well, with loads of more ideas and things to choose from!
A Gold and Navy New Years
This New Years party it’s all about gold and navy! I love gold for New Years celebrations, so I knew I wanted to have loads of gold. And I decided I wanted to pair it with navy blue after I found this gorgeous navy blue polka dot table cloth at Bed Bath & Beyond. My navy and gold party was born!
I layered gold on blue, blue on gold…added some twinkle with lights…tied in blue ribbon…bought candy in matching colours…all festive and easy!
Keep it simple and pretty!
I really tried to keep things simple for this party. I know we’re all crazy busy, especially with New Years just days after Christmas, so simplicity was my main goal. And this for me means, easy to find and easy to assemble decorations, simple recipes and a pretty set up that isn’t stressful to create. One of the ways I did this was to choose a specific section of my home, which for me was in my eating nook, and make that party central. It’s in this space that I centred my decorations, and set up one table for the punch and dessert, and one separate table will be for the appetizers.
Make a simple punch everyone will love.
For this party, I made the most simple White Cranberry Punch. To my new punch bowl I added 1 – 2 L bottle of Sprite, and 1 – 1.77 L of white cranberry juice. Then I made some big square ice cubes, some with cranberries, and some without, then added slices of green apple. Easiest punch ever. And it’s a punch both kids and adults can enjoy!
Festive and delicious!
And for the grown ups, flutes of the real sparkly!
What’s New Year’s Eve without cake?!
For dessert I decided to make my Coconut Dream Cake. Pretty and tasty!
I really love how this all came together! The colours make me happy, the decorations are fun…love it! Now all we need to add are special friends and family!
I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season! Happy New Year!
