Me, Myself & I

So this post is very different than what I usually do.
It’s all about me.  Yikes.  Feels very weird.  And quite self absorbed.
But there is a reason friends.
I’m participating in a photo challenge at Life with my 3 Boybarians.
This week the p52 challenge was Self Portraits
Yep.  Shots of yerself.
If you are anything like me, there are probably a lot of photos of your kids,
pets, husbands, grandkids and other stuff, but not a lot, if any, of yourself.
I don’t really have any current photos of myself that I like.
But I took some time and tried my hand at some self portraits.
So here they are.  Unedited, laugh lines, sun spots, rosy cheeks and all.
I’m embarrassed to post them.  But I will in the name of a good challenge!

  1. These are great! You look adorable and I must comment on how gorgeous and shiny your hair is. Thanks for ‘putting yourself out there’. Sometimes it’s fun to step out of your comfort zone 🙂

  3. Your pictures are great. It is so hard to take pictures of ourselves isn’t it? I don’t just mean the logistics, although they challenged me. No I mean taking pictures of me. Except it is not about me – it is about the people we love.

  4. I think they are beautiful!!!! You should do them more often! I totally get it though- I struggled with this for years. Then I “met” Elena at selfiemagic.com & she certainly changed my life when it comes to self portraits.

  5. You look beautiful – glad you embraced the self-portrait; and I’m totally with you, I have very few photos of myself. Think of them also as preserving memories for your kids for the future – THEY will like having them even if we don’t like taking them.
