DIY Recipe Cards from Scrapbook Paper
Have more scrapbook paper than you know what to do with? Make recipe cards with it! A simple and practical use.

I have oodles of scrapbook paper in my stash of crafty things. I’ve spent some time scrapbooking in the past, but I’m not good at it. Also, I don’t like the pressure of it. Sounds funny I know, but scrapbooking makes my heart pound and my palms sweat, but not in a good way. Too much pressure to make a perfect page. Cut a picture…are you kidding me!? And how can I possibly choose just the right photo to make a page? Ackk! Just too much for me.

So what to do with all my leftover beautiful paper? It’s too pretty to be wasted sitting at the bottom of my closet. Then I found myself needing more recipe cards, and I didn’t feel like buying any, so why not make them! So made them I did.
How to make recipe cards with scrapbook paper:
- Each 12 x 12 sheet will make 6 recipe cards at 6 x 3 inches.
- I used a paper cutter to make cut out these cards. So simple.

Have a happy day!

yep, good thinking! thanks for sharing!
Great idea! I’m another one of those with tons of scrapbook paper but (after several attempts) I don’t scrapbook. These would make great gifts–filing this one away for later! Did you use really heavy paper or did you back it with some cardstock?
love this idea!!!!! I have so much scrapbook paper as well!!! Thanks for sharing!!!!
This is a great idea, I think I might put a few of these together for Mother’s Day, thanks for the inpsiration!

Who makes this paper that you have chopped up for recipe cards? I love the colors and would love to know who makes it. Thanks! Kristy sweetkjodesigns@aol.com
Can I know where I can buy the colorful scrapbook paper you have here.
Hi Veronica! I found it Michaels years ago…I don’t think they still have it now though. Sorry about that!
