Christmas in the Desert

Now if this doesn’t scream
‘Christmas in the desert’,
I don’t know what does!
I’m having blog guilt!  Guilt that I haven’t been giving it any attention!  But I have a few minutes here, with baby napping, kidlets over at Opa’s and hubby out at the bike store.  (I’ve also been afraid of touching the keyboard what with all the bugs flying around here!  Got out the Lysol, and we’re good to go!)
One of the nicest things about where we are staying here in Phoenix, is having the pool all to ourselves at all hours of the day!  Guess the pools don’t get used here in the winters – the older folk find the weather too cold!  But it’s great for us!  I don’t have to ride the kids for being too noisy and splashy.
We especially love to go out at night, and it’s so fun with all the Christmas lights!  So luxurious to be sitting in the hot tub in the middle of December under the stars and twinkly lights!
Also a great chance to practice with my camera at night.  Here are a few shots of our view.  So lovely.

A shot of the pool steps.

Because I’m a Bokeh addict, here is a shot of the pool and the Christmas lights.

Pretty lights.

Now, if we can only figure out how to live here full time…
