Pear Baked Oatmeal
Make this Pear Baked Oatmeal the night before, and pop it in the oven first thing in the morning! You’ll have a hearty, healthy and delicious breakfast!

Ingredients

large eggs
1 1/2
cups
milk
2% or whole milk
1/4
cup
vegetable oil
or canola oil
1
tsp
vanilla extract
3
cups
old fashioned rolled oats
1/2
cup
brown sugar
2
tsp
baking powder
1/4
tsp
salt
1 1/2
tsp
cinnamon
1
tsp
ground ginger
3/4
cup
homemade pear sauce
or make a quick sauce - see tip above
Instructions
Whisk together the eggs, oil, milk and vanilla.
Stir in the pear sauce.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the oats, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, ground ginger and salt.
Combine egg mixture and oat mixture.
Pour into an 8 X 8 baking dish. Then cover and refrigerate overnight.
In the morning, put the dish, uncovered, into a cold oven and bake at 350 degrees for 40 - 45 minutes.
