3/4 - 1cupchocolate chipsyou can add more but I found 1 cup was almost too much
about 24 Oreos
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
Using a stand mixer, cream the butter and sugar together until fluffy.
Add the eggs, one at a time.
Then add the vanilla.
In a separate bowl whisk together the flour, salt and baking soda.
Combine the butter mix and flour mix.
Add chocolate chips.
Chill the dough for 20 minutes.
Stuffing the cookies:
Once the dough has chilled, take a scoop of cookie dough big enough to make a 1 inch ball. Press flat. Lay and Oreo on the flat dough (see picture above).
Then get another scoop of dough to make another 1 inch ball. Press flat and lay it on top of the Oreo.
Press the sides together, making sure that the Oreo is completely covered.
The cookie shouldn't be any bigger than 2 and 1/2 inches. If they are bigger, then your cookie will spread out during baking, and end up looking like a fried egg!
Line the cookies on a parchment paper lined baking sheet and chill for another 15 minutes.
Bake for 12-14 minutes, or until you see the bottom edges of the cookies start to brown.
