Chocolate Buttercream Frosting
This Chocolate Buttercream is creamy, chocolatey and so good. Absolute perfection on chocolate cake!
Servings 1 1/2 cups
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1 3/4 cups icing sugar
- 4 tbsp cocoa powder
- 3 tbsp milk
- 3/4 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Using the whisk attachment on an electric mixer, whip together the butter, icing sugar and cocoa powder.
- Slowly add the milk and vanilla.
- Whip until the the icing is nice and fluffy, making sure to scrape the mixing bowl often!
- The texture of the frosting should be soft, and the colour medium-light chocolate.
