Banana Bread
This Banana Bread Recipe is a classic! Simple, comforting and tastes like home. Perfect for using up ripe bananas. This recipe makes 1 loaf, but it is easily doubled if you would like 2.

Ingredients

bananas, mashed

all purpose flour

salt

baking soda
1/4
tsp
baking powder

butter at room temperature
2/3
cup
granulated sugar
1/2
tsp
vanilla extract
2
large eggs
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
Using a fork mash the bananas and set aside.
Prepare a loaf pan by lining it with parchment paper or lightly spraying it with cooking spray. Set aside.
In a bowl whisk together the flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder. Set aside.
In a separate bowl, cream together the butter, sugar and vanilla until creamy.
Then add the flour mixture to the butter mixture and mix until it has the consistency of brown sugar.
Beat in the eggs one at a time.
Fold in the mashed banana.
Bake for about 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the centre of the loaf comes out clean.
Let the bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then remove and let cool on a wire rack.
