3/4

10
cups
of dried bread cubes
1 1/2
tsp
dried sage
1
tsp
dried thyme
1/2
tsp
salt
1/2
tsp
ground black pepper
1/2
cup
raisins
2
apples
peeled and chopped
1
cup
chicken broth
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 325 degrees F.
In a deep oven proof dish like an enamel pot, melt the butter over low-medium heat.
Add the chopped celery and onions and cook until tender.
Add the bread cubes, and mix until the bread is coated in the melted butter.
Stir in the sage, thyme, salt, pepper, raisins and apples.
If you find that your stuffing is too dry at this point, add some chicken broth until it's how you want it. Sometimes I have to add up to one cup.
Bake, covered, for 45 minutes.
After 45 minutes, uncover and bake for 30 more minutes, stirring once or twice. The stuffing should be golden brown.
