This recipe makes approximately 4 cups of pear sauce. Enjoy on it’s own, over ice cream or add to baking.
- 6 cups chopped pears (cored, peeled and cut into small pieces)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- Add the chopped pears, sugar and cinnamon to the slow cooker.
- Set to LOW and cook for 4 – 5 hours.
- If possible, stir the mixture occasionally.
