This Sage Butter Green Beans and Corn Medley dish is delicious and easy. A quick side dish that’s perfect for Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner (or any time of year!).

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 4 tbsp butter (separate into 3 tbsp and 1 tbsp)
  • 1 tsp ground sage
  • 4 cups fresh green beans (or frozen green beans)
  • 3 cups frozen corn
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Mix together 1 tbsp of butter with the 1 tsp of ground sage (I just mash together with a fork). Set aside.
  2. To a large skillet on low-medium heat, melt 3 tablespoons of butter.
  3. Add the corn, mix well so it’s coated with the butter and sauté for about 5 minutes.
  4. Add the green beans and 1 tbsp of sage butter, mix well as the sage butter melts. Sauté for about 5 more minutes.
  5. Season with salt and pepper and serve immediately.
  6. Serve.
