Peanut Butter Parfaits in Jars

Easy, no-bake peanut butter parfaits in jars!  A simple and delicious dessert idea!


  • 1/2 cup whipping cream
  • 1 tbsp icing sugar (confectioners)
  • 1/3 cup smooth peanut butter
  • cups ~ 2 of really good chocolate ice cream (buy the good stuff)
  • chopped peanuts (or crushed peanut brittle for the topping)


  1. Whip the cream and sugar, until stiff peaks form. Transfer to a different bowl.
  2. Then whip the peanut butter until it’s nice and smooth.
  3. Add the whipping cream to the peanut butter, and stir by hand until combined.
  4. Use 6 – 250 mL mason jars, and put a good sized scoop of chocolate ice cream in the bottom of each jar.
  5. On top of the chocolate ice cream, evenly distribute the peanut butter mixture between the 6 jars. (See Notes)
  6. Garnish with the chopped peanuts or crushed peanut brittle.
  7. Freeze until you are ready to eat them.


If you want, you can add a small scoop of the peanut butter mixture to the bottom of the jars, then the ice cream, then the remainder of the peanut butter mixture. Yum.
