This Peanut Butter Banana Bread is the perfect combination of peanut butter and banana! A tender and delicious loaf.

- 1 1/3 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
- 2/3 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 3 mashed ripe bananas
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
- Line a loaf pan with parchment paper. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl whisk together the dry ingredients: flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder. Set aside.
- In a separate bowl, use a mixer to cream together the butter, sugar and peanut butter until smooth.
- Add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, and mix until until it has the consistency of brown sugar.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time.
- Fold in the mashed bananas.
- If you’re adding chocolate chips, stir in 1/2 – 3/4 cup.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for about 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the centre of the loaf comes out clean.
- Let cool on a wire rack for at least 1 hour before cutting.
