Maple Apple Muffins


These Maple Apple Muffins are quick, healthy and delicious! Made with quick oats, diced apple, cinnamon and maple syrup, these will quickly become a favourite.


  • 1 1/3 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 cup quick oats
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 medium apples, peeled and diced


  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Whisk together the flour, quick oats, sugar, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Set aside.
  3. In a separate bowl mix together milk, egg, melted butter and maple syrup.
  4. Add the milk mixture to the flour/oat mixture. Mix well.
  5. Stir in diced apples.
  6. Fill paper muffin cups about 2/3 full, or until all the batter fits into the 12 muffin cups.
  7. Bake for about 20 minutes.
