lb lean ground beef (fresh)
1/3 cup
bread crumbs
1/3 cup

milk

small onion, minced

cloves garlic, minced

eggs
2 tsp
salt
1 tsp
ground pepper
1/2 tsp
oregano
1/2 tsp
basil
1/4 tsp
thyme
1/2 tsp
parsley
1/2 tsp
red pepper flakes
3 tbsp
grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions
Preheat your oven to 425 degrees.
In a bowl mix the bread crumbs and milk together. Let sit for 10 minutes
After 10 minutes add the diced onion, garlic, eggs, and spices. Mix together.
In a large bowl mix the beef and pork together.
Then add the bread/seasoning mix to the meat mixture, and combine.
Shape into meatballs, about 2 inches round.
Now you need to let the meatballs rest in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.
After this time, place the meatballs on a cooking rack over a baking sheet.
Bake for 20 minutes (until browned and cooked through with an internal temperature of 165).
After this time transfer the meatballs to a large skillet.
Pour your favourite tomato sauce over the meatballs and simmer for 15-20 minutes on low-medium heat.
While the sauce and meatballs are simmering you can start the noodles.
Sprinkle the meatballs with fresh basil and parmesan cheese, and serve immediately with the cooked pasta.
