4cups chopped fresh rhubarb (about 6 medium rhubarb stalks)
1/2cup granulated sugar
In a saucepan combine the chopped rhubarb, sugar and water.
Simmer over low-medium heat (bring it to a light boil) for about 15 minutes, making sure to stir often. The mixture is ready when the rhubarb is soft and broken down. The mixture should be soft and sauce like, not sticky like a jam. See tips above.
Transfer the mixture to a blender and blend until smooth.
