Chewy Chocolate Chip Pudding Cookies

These Chewy Chocolate Chip Pudding Cookies are a quick and super delicious cookie!  The vanilla pudding mix makes them soft and chewy!


Units Scale
  • 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 (3.6 ounce) vanilla instant pudding mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips


  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a bowl whisk together the flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a separate bowl, use a stand mixer to cream together the butter and sugars (I just use the paddle attachment). Mix until light and creamy, about 5 minutes.
  4. Then add the vanilla instant pudding mix powder to the butter/sugar. Mix until creamy.
  5. Add the eggs, mixing in 1 at a time.
  6. Mix in the vanilla.
  7. Add the flour mixture into the butter mixture, combine.
  8. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  9. Drop the cookie batter by the large spoonful onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet.
  10. Bake for 11 minutes. The edges of the cookies should look golden brown.
  11. Let the cookies cool on a wire cooling rack.
  12. Enjoy!
