- 1 cup butter
- 1 1/3 cup smooth peanut butter
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
- Prepare a 9 x 13 baking pan by lightly greasing with butter or lining it with parchment paper.
- Using a stand mixer cream together the butter, peanut butter and sugars.
- Add the vanilla and eggs, mix until smooth.
- In a separate large bowl whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt.
- Add the dry ingredients to the butter mix and combine, don’t over mix.
- Spread the batter into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 40 – 45 minutes, or until the centre doesn’t jiggle, and the edges are brown.
- Wait for at least 15 minutes (30 is better) before cutting into squares.
