Candy Cane Cloud Dessert

This Candy Cane Cloud Dessert is a tasty whipped cream dessert, but it’s also amazing as a frosting for chocolate cake!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/3 cup finely crushed candy canes (See Instructions)

Instructions

  1. In a mixer, whip together the whipping cream and sugar. Set aside.
  2. In a food processor grind about 4 – 5 candy canes (you want them ground finely, almost like a powder).
  3. Fold the ground candy canes into the whipping cream.
  4. Evenly distribute the dessert between 4-5 dessert cups or fancy glasses.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, more if you can, so the flavours have time to meld. (See Notes)

Notes

  • You can make this dessert in the early afternoon of the same day that you are going to eat it. That way it will be ready for dessert when you are!
  • This is a light dessert, but can also be used as a whipped topping for cake recipes.
